Block production is by Morph's sequencer set (staking-elected, and since the 28 Jul 2026 upgrade a single sequencer with hot-standby replicas); RVP challengers are a whitelisted address list, so there is no permissionless public validator role. Anyone can run a 'validator node' that only re-derives and verifies sequencer submissions. We run every node type the chain actually offers and none it does not.

For a wallet, a free public endpoint is enough. For an app, bot or indexer, a dedicated node with no rate limits avoids the throttling of shared plans.
