Privacy Policy
Last updated: 15 August 2026
This policy explains what personal data Argusnodes ("we") collects, why, and what your rights are. Short version: we collect what we need to run your nodes and bill you, we do not sell it, and we delete it when it is no longer needed.
1. What we collect
- Account data: name, email, company, and the contact channels you choose (for example a Telegram handle).
- Billing data: invoicing details and payment records. Card payments are processed by our payment providers; we do not store full card numbers. Crypto payment addresses are recorded for reconciliation.
- Service data: node configurations, allowlisted IPs, support conversations, and operational metrics (uptime, latency, resource usage) for the nodes we run for you.
- Website data: server logs (IP address, user agent, pages requested) kept for security and debugging.
2. What we deliberately do not collect
We do not inspect, log, or analyse the content of RPC requests and responses passing through your node beyond aggregate operational metrics (request volume, error rates, latency), and we do not build profiles from your on-chain activity. Your node is yours; its traffic is your business.
3. Why we process it
- To provide and operate the services you ordered (contract performance).
- To bill you and meet accounting and tax obligations (legal obligation).
- To secure our infrastructure and prevent abuse (legitimate interest).
- To answer your questions on the channel you contacted us on (legitimate interest).
We do not sell personal data and we do not use it for third-party advertising.
4. Who we share it with
Only processors needed to run the business, each bound by data-processing terms:
- Cloudflare: hosts this site and the client area, routes email sent to our support address, runs the Turnstile check on our forms, and provides our page-view analytics (Cloudflare Web Analytics, which sets no cookies and does not track you across sites).
- Google (Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics): tells us which pages are visited, from where, and which forms are completed, so we can see what is worth improving. Google Analytics sets cookies and processes your IP address and device details; it is not used for advertising and we do not share it with other advertisers. You can opt out with Google's browser add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
- Microsoft Clarity: records how visitors move through pages (clicks, scrolling, page paths) and produces heatmaps and session replays so we can find confusing pages. Clarity masks the text you type into form fields by default and sets cookies to tell sessions apart. Microsoft's own use is described at privacy.microsoft.com.
- Resend: delivers the emails our forms and the client area send (form copies, invitations, password resets).
- Zoho Desk: our helpdesk, where support conversations and form submissions are stored.
- Supabase: the database and sign-in service behind the client area (account, orders, payments).
- tawk.to: the live chat widget on this site, which stores chat transcripts and the details you enter before a chat.
- Datacentre and infrastructure providers that host your node, and payment processors for your invoices.
We disclose data to authorities only where legally required, and we notify you where the law allows.
5. Retention
- Account and service data: for the life of the account, then deleted within 90 days.
- Billing records: as long as tax law requires (typically 7 years).
- Website logs: 30 days.
6. Your rights
Depending on your jurisdiction (including under GDPR if you are in the EU/EEA or UK), you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or object to processing. Write to [email protected] and we will respond within [30] days. You may also complain to your local supervisory authority.
7. International transfers
Our infrastructure spans North America, Europe and Asia-Pacific. Where personal data crosses borders we rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses. [CONFIRM MECHANISMS WITH COUNSEL.]
8. Cookies
The website uses only cookies that are strictly necessary for it to function. We do not run third-party advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. If analytics are added later, this policy and the site's consent behaviour will be updated first.
