Terms of Service
Last updated: 15 August 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the services provided by Argusnodes ("we", "us"). By ordering or using our services you agree to these Terms.
1. The service
Argusnodes provides dedicated blockchain RPC node infrastructure: single-tenant bare-metal nodes provisioned and operated by us ("Managed Nodes"), and node management services on hardware you own ("BYOH Services"). The specific configuration, chain, node type, location, and monthly fee for each node are set out in your order.
2. Ordering and provisioning
- Quotes are firm for the configuration quoted and valid for 14 days.
- Provisioning begins after first payment. Go-live estimates are given in good faith; chain sync times vary with network conditions.
3. Fees and billing
- Services are billed as a flat monthly fee per node, in advance. There is no usage-based metering.
- Accepted payment methods include major cards, bank transfer, and supported cryptocurrencies. Crypto payments are priced at the invoiced fiat amount at time of payment.
- Fees are exclusive of applicable taxes, which are your responsibility.
- If an invoice remains unpaid [7] days after its due date we may suspend the service; [14] days after suspension we may terminate it and release the hardware.
4. Your responsibilities
- Use the service in compliance with these Terms, the Acceptable Use Policy, and applicable law.
- Keep your account credentials, API endpoints, and allowlisted IPs secure. Activity through your endpoint is your responsibility.
- For BYOH Services: provide accurate hardware information, lawful access to the machines, and a contact for physical interventions. You remain responsible for the hardware and facility.
5. Our responsibilities
- Operate the service with professional skill and care, 24/7 monitoring, and the uptime commitment set out in the Service Level Agreement.
- Provide support via the published channels without priority paywalls.
- Give at least [72 hours] notice of scheduled maintenance where reasonably possible.
6. The blockchain disclaimer
We operate infrastructure that connects to public blockchain networks. We do not control those networks and are not responsible for chain halts, forks, consensus failures, protocol bugs, or the behaviour of transactions once broadcast. A node being healthy does not guarantee a transaction's inclusion, ordering, or effect. Nothing in the service is financial, investment, or legal advice.
7. Suspension and termination
- Either party may terminate a node at the end of its current monthly term. There are no exit fees.
- We may suspend immediately where the service is used in breach of the Acceptable Use Policy, threatens the integrity of our infrastructure, or where required by law.
- On termination we delete node data from our machines within [30] days. BYOH hardware and its data remain yours.
8. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law: the service is provided as described but without warranties beyond those expressly stated; neither party is liable for indirect or consequential loss (including lost profits, lost trading opportunity, or MEV not captured); and our total aggregate liability in any 12-month period is capped at the fees you paid for the affected service in that period. Nothing limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
9. Changes
We may update these Terms with [30] days' notice by email and by updating this page. Continued use after the notice period is acceptance. Price changes never apply mid-term to an existing node.
10. Governing law
Governing law and venue are set out in the order confirmation or written agreement for each service. Where none is stated, we will try to resolve any dispute with you directly and in good faith first.
