Acceptable Use Policy

Last updated: 15 August 2026

"No artificial limits" means we never throttle lawful workloads. It does not mean no rules. This policy sets the few that exist. It applies to all Argusnodes services.

1. What you can do

Run any lawful workload at any intensity the hardware supports: trading bots, MEV strategies, indexing, analytics, dApp backends, validators, load tests against your own node. High usage is the product working, never a violation.

2. What you cannot do

  • Use the service to break the law of the place you operate from or the place the server is located, including sanctions and anti-money-laundering law.
  • Attack anything: no denial-of-service against networks, chains, or third parties, no unauthorised access attempts, no malware distribution or command-and-control.
  • Attack the chain itself: no workloads whose purpose is to disrupt consensus or exploit protocol vulnerabilities against a network's integrity.
  • Resell raw access to your node as a public RPC service without a reseller agreement with us.
  • Interfere with our infrastructure, other customers' machines, or attempt to bypass isolation between them.

3. On MEV and trading

MEV extraction, arbitrage, liquidations and high-frequency trading are lawful, supported workloads and among the reasons this service exists. Whether a specific strategy is lawful in your jurisdiction is your call and your responsibility, not ours to judge or police.

4. Enforcement

  • Where practical we contact you first and ask for correction within a stated period.
  • We suspend immediately and without notice only where the violation is unlawful activity, harms third parties, or endangers our infrastructure.
  • Repeated or serious violations end the service under the Terms of Service. BYOH hardware always remains yours.
