BOB Dedicated RPC Node

BOB is an OP Stack based hybrid ZK rollup on Ethereum (Kailua fault proofs) that is also secured by Bitcoin, positioning itself as the 'Bank of Bitcoin' for swapping, saving, earning and borrowing on Bitcoin rails. Argusnodes runs it for you on bare metal that is only yours: no rate limits, every method on, one flat monthly price. Configure it below and a firm quote lands within the hour.

Every row below is taken from BOB's official documentation (docs.gobob.xyz), last reviewed against it on 22 Aug 2026, not from what is convenient to sell. Where the documentation is silent, the row says so.

What changed on BOB recently (reviewed 22 Aug 2026)

  • BOB now describes itself as a Hybrid Chain: Phase 1 (Ethereum L2 with the Kailua ZK fault-proof upgrade) is complete, Phase 2 Bitcoin soft finality via Babylon BTC staking is in progress, and the BitVM bridge was slated for mainnet in Q4 2025. source ↗
  • BOB's official full-node guide (as of April 2026) uses op-reth v2.1.0-rc.1 and op-node v1.16.12 and no longer references op-geth. source ↗
  • OP Labs marks op-geth as end-of-support on 31 May 2026 and names op-reth the primary supported execution client for OP Stack nodes, so any remaining op-geth BOB nodes should be migrated. source ↗
  • BOB introduced Hybrid Nodes, a limited operator set ranked by BOB token delegation, rolled out in phases (pre-staking, infrastructure launch, role extension), with BitVM operators and Bitcoin finality providers planned for Phase 2. source ↗
Which client

Choosing the BOB client for the workload.

BOB's documentation covers 2 node clients. You name the client, or describe the workload and we recommend one; either way it is built, synced and tuned for you.

Client
op-reth

Rust execution client used in the official BOB full-node guide (v2.1.0-rc.1), serving the HTTP/WS JSON-RPC API and syncing in staged pipelines; it is also OP Labs' primary supported execution client now that op-geth is end-of-support.

Client
op-node

OP Stack consensus/rollup node (v1.16.12 in the BOB guide) that derives L2 blocks from L1 and drives op-reth over the authenticated Engine API on port 9551.

How the providers in this market are built, from their own public pages. Per-chain availability varies by provider, so check their chain lists for BOB; we build BOB on order either way, from $199/mo flat.

Your endpoint

The BOB RPC node endpoint provider that hands you the keys.

Your BOB endpoint lives on your own domain, locked to the IPs you allowlist, served from the city you choose across 18 Tier-3 datacentre locations. The node exposes JSON-RPC, WebSocket as documented by BOB. Live p50 and p99 latency for your node streams to your dashboard, and the 99.99% SLA applies in writing. New to dedicated nodes? The dedicated RPC node guide covers the model end to end.

Chain facts on this page are sourced from BOB's official documentation, and you can check them yourself:

Before you order

BOB dedicated node: the questions buyers ask.

How long until my BOB node is live?

A firm quote lands within the hour, around the clock. Go-live depends on BOB's sync characteristics for your configuration and the client you pick (op-reth, op-node); your quote includes a go-live estimate for exactly that setup rather than a number that is sometimes wrong.

What is included in the from $199/mo for my BOB node?

Everything the node can do: no rate limits, every RPC method including debug and trace, unlimited WebSocket connections, your own domain with an IP allowlist, 18 cities to choose from, a 99.99% SLA with credits, 24/7 engineer support and live p50/p99 in your dashboard. There is no add-on price list because nothing is an add-on.

Which BOB client should I choose?

op-reth: Rust execution client used in the official BOB full-node guide (v2.1.0-rc.1), serving the HTTP/WS JSON-RPC API and syncing in staged pipelines; it is also OP Labs' primary supported execution client now that op-geth is end-of-support. op-node: OP Stack consensus/rollup node (v1.16.12 in the BOB guide) that derives L2 blocks from L1 and drives op-reth over the authenticated Engine API on port 9551.

Does Argusnodes run BOB archive nodes and trace methods?

Archive support on BOB is confirmed against its documentation as part of your quote. Every method the client exposes is on by default at no extra charge.

Can I run a BOB validator with Argusnodes?

An OP-stack L2 run by a sequencer; official docs describe RPC full nodes only. We run every node type the chain actually offers and none it does not.

Can I migrate my BOB endpoint from QuickNode, Chainstack or another provider?

Yes. A dedicated BOB node speaks the same JSON-RPC and WebSocket interfaces as the shared endpoint you use today, so migration is pointing your application at your own endpoint. Billing is monthly with no lock-in on our side, and support engineers are on the channels 24/7 during cutover.

Which city should I pick for my BOB node?

Any of 18 Tier-3 datacentre cities across North America, Europe, Asia-Pacific. Deploy near your users for an app, or ask us where BOB latency is lowest for a bot; we answer from measurement. Need a city we do not list? Ask.

Are there rate limits or connection caps on a dedicated BOB node?

No artificial ones. The machine is yours alone, so the hardware is the only ceiling: if it can serve the request, you can send it. There is no per-plan connection cap because there is no plan tier.

How do I pay for my BOB node, and can I cancel?

Visa, Mastercard, bank transfer or crypto, billed monthly. Cancel at the end of any monthly term; the node is provisioned for you alone, so there is no meter to escape and no exit fee.

How does Argusnodes compare to QuickNode, Chainstack and other BOB RPC providers?

Argusnodes is dedicated-only: a bare-metal BOB node with no rate limits at one flat price from $199/mo. As of August 2026, per their own pricing pages: QuickNode sells dedicated clusters through enterprise sales without published prices, Chainstack bills dedicated nodes per hour on top of a paid plan, and Zeeve applies monthly request allowances on dedicated plans below its Enterprise tier. The comparison table on this page links every source.
