- Starcoin v1.13.21 (released 2026-08-20) is an emergency mandatory hard fork for Main: every node must upgrade before block 32,165,300 (projected about 2026-08-21 23:46 UTC+8); from that height every block must carry an Ed25519 block permit signed by a compiled-in authorization key, and v1.13.20 or older nodes fall onto a legacy fork. source ↗

A dedicated Starcoin node speaks the same JSON-RPC (HTTP, port 9850) and JSON-RPC (WebSocket, port 9870) and JSON-RPC (TCP, port 9860) and IPC interfaces as the shared endpoint you use today, so migration is pointing your application at your own endpoint. Billing is monthly with no lock-in on our side, and support engineers are on the channels 24/7 during cutover.
