op-geth (Hemi fork): Hemi's modified op-geth is the execution client that serves standard JSON-RPC and computes hVM state, including the embedded Bitcoin (TBC) state. op-node: The OP Stack rollup/consensus node that derives Hemi blocks from Ethereum DA and serves the consensus RPC (state roots, sync status, BTC finality in extended profiles). bfgd: Bitcoin Finality Governor daemon serving Bitcoin finality data; needs PostgreSQL and an Electrs/bitcoind connection, only required for the hemi/full profiles.

Hemi's official documentation does not describe an on-node archive mode, so we do not sell one. Heavy methods the client does expose are on by default; historical access is scoped per use case in your quote.

Block production is by Hemi's Bitcoin-Secure Sequencer operated by the network; public node operators run RPC/full nodes and, optionally, permissionless Proof-of-Proof miners (popmd) that earn rewards by publishing Hemi headers to Bitcoin. Check four things: whether the node is single-tenant or shared, whether there are rate limits or credits, whether archive, trace and debug are included, and who answers when it breaks. For a wallet, a free public endpoint is enough. For an app, bot or indexer, a dedicated node with no rate limits avoids the throttling of shared plans.
