  • Mainnet 27 (Forte) network upgrade/spork on October 22, 2025 moved nodes to flow-go v0.43.3 and migrated storage from BadgerDB to PebbleDB, after which node hardware specifications were revised downward. source ↗
  • Mainnet 28 spork on December 28, 2025 (flow-go v0.44.3, root height 137390146) requires node operators to re-bootstrap from the new root. source ↗

Which client

Choosing the Flow client for the workload.

Flow's documentation covers 2 node clients. You name the client, or describe the workload and we recommend one; either way it is built, synced and tuned for you.

Client
flow-go

Reference implementation for every Flow node role; for RPC service run it as a permissionless access node (100 FLOW stake, gRPC/REST Access API) or an unstaked observer node.

Client
flow-evm-gateway

Unstaked gateway that implements the Ethereum JSON-RPC spec (plus WebSocket) on top of an access node, giving a dedicated private Flow EVM RPC endpoint.

Flow RPC providers, compared · verified August 2026

The Flow RPC node provider comparison: Argusnodes vs QuickNode vs Chainstack vs Helius vs Allnodes vs Zeeve vs RPC Fast.

How the providers in this market are built, from their own public pages. Per-chain availability varies by provider, so check their chain lists for Flow; we build Flow on order either way, from $199/mo flat.

Your endpoint

The Flow RPC node endpoint provider that hands you the keys.

Your Flow endpoint lives on your own domain, locked to the IPs you allowlist, served from the city you choose across 18 Tier-3 datacentre locations. The node exposes gRPC, REST, WebSocket, JSON-RPC (EVM) as documented by Flow. Live p50 and p99 latency for your node streams to your dashboard, and the 99.99% SLA applies in writing. New to dedicated nodes? The dedicated RPC node guide covers the model end to end.

Chain facts on this page are sourced from Flow's official documentation, and you can check them yourself:

Before you order

Flow dedicated node: the questions buyers ask.

How long until my Flow node is live?

A firm quote lands within the hour, around the clock. Go-live depends on Flow's sync characteristics for your configuration and the client you pick (flow-go, flow-evm-gateway); your quote includes a go-live estimate for exactly that setup rather than a number that is sometimes wrong.

What is included in the from $199/mo for my Flow node?

Everything the node can do: no rate limits, every RPC method including debug and trace, unlimited WebSocket connections, your own domain with an IP allowlist, 18 cities to choose from, a 99.99% SLA with credits, 24/7 engineer support and live p50/p99 in your dashboard. There is no add-on price list because nothing is an add-on.

Which Flow client should I choose?

flow-go: Reference implementation for every Flow node role; for RPC service run it as a permissionless access node (100 FLOW stake, gRPC/REST Access API) or an unstaked observer node. flow-evm-gateway: Unstaked gateway that implements the Ethereum JSON-RPC spec (plus WebSocket) on top of an access node, giving a dedicated private Flow EVM RPC endpoint.

Does Argusnodes run Flow archive nodes and trace methods?

Archive support on Flow is confirmed against its documentation as part of your quote. Every method the client exposes is on by default at no extra charge.

Can I run a Flow validator with Argusnodes?

Staked node roles require sufficient stake and authorization by the governance working group. We run every node type the chain actually offers and none it does not.

Can I migrate my Flow endpoint from QuickNode, Chainstack or another provider?

Yes. A dedicated Flow node speaks the same gRPC and REST and WebSocket and JSON-RPC (EVM) interfaces as the shared endpoint you use today, so migration is pointing your application at your own endpoint. Billing is monthly with no lock-in on our side, and support engineers are on the channels 24/7 during cutover.

Which city should I pick for my Flow node?

Any of 18 Tier-3 datacentre cities across North America, Europe, Asia-Pacific. Deploy near your users for an app, or ask us where Flow latency is lowest for a bot; we answer from measurement. Need a city we do not list? Ask.

Are there rate limits or connection caps on a dedicated Flow node?

No artificial ones. The machine is yours alone, so the hardware is the only ceiling: if it can serve the request, you can send it. There is no per-plan connection cap because there is no plan tier.

How do I pay for my Flow node, and can I cancel?

Visa, Mastercard, bank transfer or crypto, billed monthly. Cancel at the end of any monthly term; the node is provisioned for you alone, so there is no meter to escape and no exit fee.

How does Argusnodes compare to QuickNode, Chainstack and other Flow RPC providers?

Argusnodes is dedicated-only: a bare-metal Flow node with no rate limits at one flat price from $199/mo. As of August 2026, per their own pricing pages: QuickNode sells dedicated clusters through enterprise sales without published prices, Chainstack bills dedicated nodes per hour on top of a paid plan, and Zeeve applies monthly request allowances on dedicated plans below its Enterprise tier. The comparison table on this page links every source.
